The membership is for two years. The 10-member Multi-stakeholder Group, which was set up in 2015, is to promote the implementation of the SDGs (2030 Agenda), facilitate cooperation between stakeholders, and advise central national and international actors. The group of experts works as a part of the wider Technology Facilitation Mechanism, which is to help in achieving the UN’s SDGs.

Anne-Christine Ritschkoff holds a PhD degree. She joined VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd in 1987 and has worked as a Researcher and Executive Vice President for Strategic Research. Currently Ritschkoff is Senior Advisor on bioeconomy and circular economy at VTT and a Docent (mechanical engineering) at the Lappeenranta University of Technology
