Foreign Minister of Moldova visits Finland

Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova Natalia Gherman will visit Finland on 13 November and meet Foreign Minister Erkki Tuomioja.

The Foreign Ministers will discuss, for example, the bilateral relations between the countries, the relations between Moldova and the EU, the EU’s Eastern Partnership and regional issues.

During her visit, Foreign Minister Gherman will also meet Minister of the Interior Päivi Räsänen and Deputy Chair of the Grand Committee of the Finnish Parliament Paula Lehtomäki and other members of the committee. The topics of discussion will include Moldova’s closer EU association, internal development and Moldova’s progress in the dialogue with the EU on visa-free travel.

At the end of her visit, Foreign Minister Gherman will participate in the Finnish Institute of International Affairs seminar that discusses the EU’s Eastern Partnership Summit to be held in Vilnius.
