Foreign Minister Tuomioja to Peru and Chile

Foreign Minister Erkki Tuomioja will travel to Peru on 22-24 January in celebration of the 50th anniversary year of the diplomatic relations between Finland and Peru. During the visit, Tuomioja will have bilateral discussions with President of Peru Ollanta Humala and his Peruvian colleague, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rafael Roncagliolo. In addition, Tuomioja will meet representatives of local NGOs engaged in human rights and democracy issues.

From Peru Foreign Minister Tuomioja will travel to Chile to attend the Meeting of Foreign Ministers between the EU, Latin America and the Caribbean. In connection with this meeting, to be held in Santiago de Chile on 25 January, Minister Tuomioja will have bilateral meetings with foreign ministers of the region.
